Welcome to my site! Recently, my site was hacked and the hacker deleted all my files and posts and put their own stuff on it. After some back and forth with my web hosting company, I was able to regain control of my site and delete their files. Unfortunately, I need to start over with my blog. Luckily, it’s not from scratch thanks to the Wayback Machine. I can get the content from my previous posts off of there and re-post them. The challenge now is figuring out which WordPress theme to go with. I’ve selected one for now so it isn’t the barebones, out of the box one that comes when you install WP.
So, if you’ve come here while my site is still under construction, I apologize for the dust. I hope to have my content back. But this does provide me an opportunity to rethink my site and the content on it. So I may not bring back all my old posts, but just relevant ones. I need to figure out what I’m going to focus on. In the past it had been entertainment (movie and TV reviews, etc.), tech and just misc stuff. I have stayed away from politics as that can get dicey and getting doxxed would suck. But who knows….
I’d thought about calling my site The Lender Blender instead of my name. Basically, it would be a mix of different topics that I blog about. Hence, the blender. Mix it all up. But, again, we’ll see which way I decide to go as I work on getting this site back up and running.
